Is the year of a head stamped onto the head itself???

Is the year of a head stamped onto the head itself??? If so where, I just picked up a b16 head for a good price, now id like to know if the guy was telling the truth about it being from a 94 del sol VTEC

yeah its stamped on there somewhere... usually if it says 93 then the head is from a 94... it was just cast in 93... correct me if im wrong...

yes right above the left exhaust port it should be a circle with a line through it and one number on one side and one on the other like (9/6)
therefore 96

SO the head i have is a 98 so does that mean its from a 97 del sol vtec, or a 99 civic si?
