Default Anyone with a SoloII Rulebook handy

Is an 88-91 CRX HF an FSP or CSP car?

No, I don't need another car. But when the hell did that ever stop any of us?

Scott, who may have stumbled upon his own $2004 challenge entry (but for me it'd be the sub-$1000 challenge).

All 88-91 Civic/CRX go to CSP.

99% sure they are all lumped together. From 84-87, some do indeed go to CSP and some to FSP. That never made a lot of sense to me, but ok. Same goes for the 92+ Civics. Some go to DSP and some to FSP.

92+ Si and EX go to DSP I believe. All others 92+ FSP.

Well, upon 2nd thought the fact that ALL 88-91 CRXs go into CSP opens the door for some serious update/backdate stuff.

Yes, it does. 88 CRX HF would be the best canidate with a 89-91 Si motor.

Still gonna be tough to beat the CSP Miatas and the one or two RX3's left in the country. Also, looks as if the MR2 Spyder is doing rather nicely in CSP as well. In a few years, the writing may be on the wall for the CSP Hondas...

No doubt. But C'mon Scott! I will probably be scavenging seat time in mine. Also a serious underdog in CSP. Need the competition.

Chris, who is 2 seconds off the pace in CSP but will be there anyway.

I stumbled across a stupid cheap potential $2004 challenge car with a blown motor.
Looks like too much work though, and I have nowhere to park it.

When I mentioned it to Renee she just said: "Ahem... There is a busted Neon in the driveway ya know."
I hate it when people **** all over my illogical flights of fancy.

Chris - You know I'm a car *****. I'm there!!!

You don't know how many times I've had that same conversation/response with my wife. Seems that another car in the driveway would "trash up the neighborhood" or something.

-chris, who thinks that 4 cars for a 2 driver family is not all that out of line if only 2 are running at any one time.

I feel so used and abused. You co-drive my car once, and now you're off to fraternize with a smaller, cuter model car -- in a class that allows more "toys" to be brought to the party.... <sobbing sounds>

Casey, who feels like the jilted lover...

Smaller, yes. Older, crankier, and harder to live with, most definitely.
Wish I had the "toys" too...

I guess you could equate it with leaving your 20 something girlfriend for a 40 something prison guard named Bertha.

C'mon now guys. I can co-drive with both of you.

How come this never happens with a couple of 21 year old college seniors? Wait... It did happen... But I was a 21 year old college senior as well.

Chris~ I know Heath sets the pace for CSP cars, but he runs in the pro class. Where are you relative to Arjun? Not sure what he's done to his car recently (other than the paint job) but his car is looking much faster to me for some reason.

<blatent thread hijack>

Speaking of AutoX classes, if I'm reading the chart on moutons.org correctly, it looks like I'll be in GS now with the LS. Going to be running it for the first time next week. What's the competition like in GS?

I wasn't comparing to Heath. Seems that 8 inch cantilevered bias-ply slicks and a .40 over motor with a diff is worth about 2 seconds over what I can muster with my craptastic wheel/tire combo, and open diff.

Also--GS has Type R and IS300 competition

You're thinking of DS, which is where I used to run.

thats because its a different car, not just a new paint job. He got it because the new red one has more motor work which might be why its faster. Only downside he told me of is that the suspension is softer.

All he had to do was sort and align it. He got the new car in the first place because the rubber bands and zip ties that were holding together the old car were starting to wear out. Was a bit of a rust bucket, that one.
