Let me know how you work out the replacement of the suspension.

all-motor drag car, maybe?

No radiator support or cowl will make an h22 look like it has space...

Clearance looks a little tight on the pass side shock tower. Now slap on a couple of wheels and take that sucka for a spin, Bond style (trivia: which movie?). Prolly hit 12s with the stock motor...

The K motors are actually quite a bit lighter than b motors and their aftermarket support and hp improvements are incredible for the amount of time they have been out. They're actually a bit smaller in dimension than a b-series motor, I think the 6spd tranny is even comparable in size to 5spd b series.

Give the K series five years and it will be the most common swap for any Honda. They are truly great engines.

85 lbs ligher, and 225 whp with bolt-ons, street cams (toda a's) and ECU reflash.

Imagine what good headwork, race fuel, sgt tuned hondata and race cams is going to bring out... my money is on 250 reliable whp. Just disgusting.

Do they use a multi-stage IM like the GSR did??

They do look very nice, but I think that there will be probles with most of the suspension, and drive train. But thats nothing a plasma cutter and a welder cant fix

Thats the easy part. Getting the correct CVs fot the transmition to be able to work with the splines of th hub, and having the proper length for the axles will be hard.

And that is just for a swap into car that already has a K series moto-r in it.

The 01+ civic coupes still have a d-series motor.

Looks like it works, they just don't want you to see how to make the mounts (note the "white out")

i believe i remembered reading that integra axles fit. Not sure on that but pretty positive. Doesn't seem that difficult actually if the axles work. I think the biggest bitch is getting the shift linkage right, wiring it, and then being able to get a dealer to disable the immobilizer for you.

s

p.s. can't wait to see the first K series powered EG or EK hatch in H1 HC! That thing is gonna be rollin some cars!!

Those ITBs look mean.

So I assume this will be an H1 car?

Man .. that EG looks nice. Can't wait for the K24 bottom end + DC5R head H1 car.

SPiFF reconsiders his TSX or RSX-S purchase.

HyTech has a 267/173 on 91 octane, still making revisions to the header, cam profiles, and intake manifold.

12:1 compression Pistons(allowable in Speed TC)
Rods
HyTech cams
HyTech springs
HyTech Ti retainers
Endyn headwork
HyTech header
HyTech exhaust
HyTech intake manifold
HyTech intake
Hondata

HyTech is currently working on a built NA 2.3L, and cams and headers for the stock compression, as well as a Supercharger and Turbo kit as well. He would love to road race one, but the budget isn't there, as he's currently working on a NA NHRA drag car with the RSX engine.

Austin - just with the inside track on the HyTech RSX products
