just recently became a owner of a 93 gsr, i'm just gathering a bit of information before i head out and drop some money. I was curious if a jdm 4-1 header would fit in the compact engine bay. everything looks so cramped in not sure if it would fit.

 

you might have trouble clearing the front cross member.

 

sgT is right. yo must "notch" the front crossmember to fit the JDM 4-1 header in. Do a search for member "Dan" who had to do this on his G2.

I believe it's the same for the DC JDM 4-1 also.

I have one currently on mine. The crossmember does have to be notched considerably. It also hangs very low. I have scraped a few times. But it does make serious power through out all the power band. It sounds mean as hell too!
