Default Cam re-install

I have everything in now it is time to put the TB back on. I loosened the tensioner and lined everything up at TDC. For some reason though my intake cam is locked in its position. It will not budge at all, so it makes it difficult for the timing belt to go on and have everything lined up at TDC. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with that? The timing belt will be off either up or down by 1 tooth.

did you over torque your bolts? Is there something that is causing the cam to bind? I hope you find out before you run your car.

The valves are possibly resting on the piston.

can you move it the other way? did you use assembly lube? try moving cyl 1 off TDC for a half cycle and see if that works

I finally got it fixed. I said f it and took everything apart again to start over. Well, when I got the cam caps off the intake cam was like lodged on the distributor thingy there (not sure what its called). I had to pry it off with my hands and cut the **** out of my palms on the sprockets lol. I then placed it back in very carefully and put it back together. Walla! 20 min. later I was driving!
Thanks
