weird squeaking noise when turning

Default weird squeaking noise when turning

when i turn the car makes the worst sqeaking noise
it doesn't do it when its really warm but when it gets colder its really really bad
like the slightest turn will make it squeal
any ideas on what it might be?

hmmm, my power steering fliud was low but i filled it...unless its leaking??????
and theres a good chance the belt might be old i'll check that also, its not a tire rod or anything like that is it?

i had a similar sound coming from mine, the level was low so i filled it back up... went away a day later

yea i filled mine up and it went away
but its doing it again, would there be a possibility its leaking somewhere? if so how would i check it?

Check the belt yet? When they get old they get hard & slippery. You could put some belt dressing on it & see if that makes the noise go away. Maybe not a permanent fix, but then you know it's just the belt.

Tie rods get loose & klunk like a bad ball joint. I don't think they usually squeak. But you could check them out to see if they're loose.
