I hear it's a pretty good mod. tightens up the inside dramatically.

Yep just put this in the car this past week. Now it could all be the placebo effect but it did seem to stiffen the rear of the car noticably. And heck, they're on sale for $115 from A&J so why not? Way I look at it is it's a neat piece, it's cheap, and whether it's a noticable difference or not it will stiffen the car (and every little bit helps).

Here's a pic:

Didn't seem like it made a night and day difference. Very insignificant.

That X brace above is the Cockpit Loft brace. You can get it from Leo. It costs almost as much as a roll bar, so for that price I got my Autopower. But if you want something that is removable, then the cockpit loft is a nice compromise.

It will do very little unless you are running a massively stiff suspension. Even then, it's not along any major load paths so its effectiveness is limited. There are much better things to spend money on

I would say suspension upgrades, but if you're driving an ITR I don't think I would bother with that unless it was an all out track car. You really need to stiffen the chassis only when your suspension becomes so stiff that the chassis is doing the job that the suspension is supposed to be doing. If you're dead set on adding strength, do it along the suspension load paths. That means strut tower bars.

Honestly, I would rather install an orange-scented air freshener in my car than that have that thing intruding on my cargo space, and I hate the smell of oranges.

Leo at jdmspecperf should be getting these in. If you need it, give him a holler. It is a very unfriendly price tag however.
