maybe somethin regarding ur fuel line, or air intake. my car does something a lil similar. only my car starts off usually with a high idle usually between 1500-2000 and then after i start off im good for the rest of the day, unless i let it sit for hours on end the whole day. nothin to worry about i figure, specially since it only happens 5 seconds out of every day...
what year is your accord? 90-93? If it is...then i'd recommend changing the idle air control on your intake manifold. I had the same problem, but mine surged from like 1000 rpms to 2000 then drop again. I just changed both controls on the manifold, didn't know which one exactually was making it do that. It wasn't my TPS sensor though because i replaced that first.
Hope this helps!
Good luck.
Edit:
Sorry i didn't recognize your name right away...this stuff probably doesnt pertain to you.
