i just bought some apc side marker i was wondering the best way and location to mount and wire them and what to wire them to for power

 

4" above centered to your moulding

 

wire them to your blinkers, you want them to blink opposite of your blinker...like when front blinker blinks, side marker blinks off.. this might not make sence but you want like a wig-wag effect. you need a relay.

 

or you could/should make a template so the side markers are in the exact spot on both sides

 

Easy why measure out where you want them to go measure two, three times cut and drill only once. I found the easiest way is to wire it to the corner blinker bulb. I used a metal coat hanger and striaghtened it out and taped the wire to the end of it and threaded it through the hole and out where the corner lamp was.

Make sure when you drill the holes to use a really sharp good bit. I have a brand new set of Dewault metal bits that I love. And don't put a lot of pressure into the drill or you could easily dent your fender.
