When i drive my car and it hits 4 grand it makes a wierd noise. Whats even wierder is lets say im in second gear and i go up to 5 grand then on the way back down when it hits 4 grand again the same noise happens, does anyone know what this is????????

 

First check your heat shields. Might just need to be tightened.

Yes but I wouldn't recommend it. It is there for a reason.

I think this is the problem with my car. The longer you go without tightening it ... the worst it progressivly gets. Cheap and easy, just get it fixed.

Does the sound come from under the car around the exhaust piping area? If so ... that's mostlikely your problem.

 

ya i looked under my car and i think its the cadillac converter, all integras have it? whaat do i need to do to make it go away

 

i have the same thing... i'm just ignoring it until i get my header and catback in.
