Engine break in period!
i was reading around at honda-tech, and read that the rsx type s gets faster as time goes on. around 8,000 miles the car should be at its maximum speed. i dont know if this is tru. if some one knows tell.
this is a very debateable topic, but as far as I know after about 200 miles the rings will be seated/ sealed after that, the clutch will need about 400 miles to break in, then just to be sure its recomended to drive it normal (not baby the motor) then at the +- 1300 mile mark change the oil and get on it a little harder or HARD if you want. Drive it like you want to, but you should be some what considerate......I personlly wouldn't boost a newer motor till like the 3-4 k mark just to make sure its stress relieved and I am 150% sure it broken in !!
anyways hope this is helpful.....!

Do not change the oil that early. Certain additives are put in new engines for specific reasons. Just go about your regular maintenance schedule and you will be fine.
