My Tein S-Tech install on my DC5...Plenty of pics...
I installed a set of tein S-Tech lowering springs...They ride great and feel wonderful. I usually am an Eibach man but decided to go a little different.
Here are the sprinigs the way they showed up.
I'll save the before and after shots for the last photos...It makes it easier to see the difference.
This is the Honda ball joint remover I used on the steering arms. I guess you could strike the arm with a hammer and knock it loose but if you have the right tools use them. So I did.
Here are both the front struts out of the vehicle...Note you need to be carefull with how the markings line up...I had the printed page from the manual and still when I installed them back in, my steering wheel was a little off. my alignment guy corrected that today for me when he set my camber kit also.
Here is the front bump stop. I did not like the way you have to cut the retaining hat off the top, then when you cut out the portion you need to the bump stop/dust cover hangs down...I think it will be ok once the strut is in the car ann the car is on the ground. Here it is back in the vehicle...Do not forget to only snug tighten all the bolts and then preload the front suspension with some of the vehicles weight then go ahead and torque it all down. You can also see the bump stop at the bottom of the rod.
This is a good shot of the front caber kit/cam bolts that go in the upper pinch bolt holes. The kit has two cam bolts...one for each upper hole.
Just a misc shot of the rear lower shock bolt out and me getting ready to lower the car and fight with the interior rear trim, to get the upper bolts out.
The is where I found some good info out...The front struts use a 7.0mm allen head with a 14mm nut. and the rear use a 5.0mm allen with a 12.0mm nut. Go Figure

This a shot of the first rear one getting ready to go into the spring compressor. Note the silencer tubes on the Tein springs....attention to detail
Here is the rear camber kit. AKA new upper control arms. Note they have threaded holes and guide holes for the rear abs hardware(sorry you can not seee them in this pic)...They are quite nice and damn heavy duty...You can usually shim the rear arms on a civic or integra but note the inner bolts are now vertical so that was not an option.
I had a b#$%h of a time trying to get the rear lower bolt in so instead of thinking and removing the sway bar link. I grabbed a tall jack and ran it up against the spring seat and this compressed the strut just fine and the bolt was inserted a lot easier.

This is a side shot...Funny thing is I am actually in my service directors parking spot but he is not there on Saturdays.
BEFORE
AFTER

This is my car on the right and a stocker on the left...
Sorry I had to leave the little pine tree...If I pulled it out it would have been my job. Hope you understand.
Last but not least the (I want to just show off my Spoon N-1 rear shot and you can't realy see the suspension.)
Many thanks to my friend and tech at work IGGY He let me use anything else I needed out of his tool box. I brought a lot of tools but did not have everything I needed to do it right.
Thanks Bro.

What do you mean?
My alignment man said the factory setting for a RSX is no camber in the front and .5 degree in the rear. he set me up at .5 degree in the front and 1.0 degree in the rear. Oh those are negative degrees also.
It handles very well and I can not wait to get my wheels.
