Need some new brake pads for my rex and i heard Hawk HPS is one of the best. Should i also be resurfacing my rotors or getting new ones since im replacing the pads? If anyone has these pads can you let me know how they are? From the post's i read there's no negative comments on them besides collecting alot of dust and being a little noisy. A shop nearby quoted me at 56 bucks for the two front ones shipped is that a pretty decent price? Thanks in advance... I'll let you guys know how they are after i install them this week.

 

I've used the Hawk HP+ pads and loved them. One of the best pads I ever used. They are pretty easy on the rotors but get a bit dusty. Since CRX rotors go for about $25 at Autozone, I say get new ones.

 

My goddam Nissin/Honda OEM pads were like $55 and I picked them up. So get the Hawks fo sho.

 

i bought the hawk hps Plus, i paid like 65 for the fron and 50 from the rear, i ordered them from nipponracing.com

ive only had them for like 2 weeks, they are worth every penny, the car stops a lot better than before.

 

I got Hawks in the rear. Excellent braking but a lot of dust. powdercoated my rims black
