How to remove TPS from TB
Hey folks, how do i remove the TPS on the TB on D15 Motor? it does not have screws but it has some funny looking rivets holding it too the TB??
Take a small set of pliers and see if you can get a grip on the little "rivets."
If that doesn't work you can always take a cutting wheel and cut a little slot for a flathead screwdriver to fit into so you can simply unscrew them.
Also a spring-loaded punch can remove them too.
Any one of these os a combination of any should do the trick nicely.
They are basically headless screws.
Replace them with the same threadpitch screws and you're done.
Also the TPS itself is interchangable with virtually any 1988-1995 and sometimes even newer Civic and Integra.

It's been answered before, but here it is...again...
Take dremel with metal cutting blade, cut top like a flathead screw, then remove like flathead screw.
Edit: oops someone beat me to it.

Even easier- a hammer and a flathead screwdriver- strike the outside of the head of the screw at a 45 degree angle and it comes right out. Takes 2 seconds and you can do this at a junk yard.
