hey guys, i have a little problem. i think my car is messing up. first of all i have a 2nd gen teg with a gsr swap running a custom 33 psi turbo kit with race pipes all around. I was looking for a couple more ponies since every one counts. I bought this filtercharger intake thing that is supposed to produce 20% more power and i put it on the intake side of my turbo, replacing the apex'i unit. I seem to be losing power and when i raced a 4 door civic the other day on the highway he beat me and he said all he had was a sohc vtec and a cold air intake??? wtf shouldn't i be making more power??? whats going on???

 

33 psi of boost on a gsr will shorten its lifespan GREATLY. i think you need a rebuild or a new engine.
