Do you have keyless in your 98 LX? If so you'll have to keep the factory radio behind the dash using a Metra 1720T. It's also easier for you if that's the case to go to a honda dealership and get the pocket for down below if you don't already have one there (infront of the cup holders). Some cars came with a tape or cd player down there. Using that harness keeps power to the radio, and leave the green plug(s) plugged into the factory radio... that's how you keep both your keyless and dome light.

If you don't have keyless you can just jumper the green w/red and green w/black wires in the one green security plug/harness to keep your dome light working.
