Will a couple preety good dents in my Spoon header affect performance?? doh!!!

 

Oooo..that's not good.

It will obviously effect airflow depending on how bad the dents are. How'd you dent it up?

 

Just wondering...how low is your car? I've known of several cases where people dented their 2.5" collector headers, but I'm wondering how low their cars are. Do you happen to know what the height is from the ground to your wheel well? Thanks.

 

The header was banged up before I got new susp. set up. Old set up was....tockico blue and tanabe sustec super H. It was kinda low, but not slamed or anything. 1.5-2" maybe? it was more the situation than the shocks etc. I think I would have had problems with stock height. There is a preety fast and twisty access road to some sand pits near me. I was all by myself on the road, so I was going preety quick when with no warning sign there was about a 5-6 inch drop in the pavement. A straight lime cut through the road to do some pipe work or something. Bam, and hard, on the second side of the trough where the pavemnt was raised again. It was awful.
