Default High compression LS.. what kind of power gains?

Well, I've sold my LS/VTEC finally. I am picking up a stock, low milage B18B this week and I would like to install high compression pistons for now. I was thinking JDM P30 pistons would do the job at 11:1 (and not costly like the PCT pistons). I have P30 pistons on my Ls/Vtec as well.. so I know about shotpeening the rods. But, I have 2 questions reguarding it:

First, what kind of power gains could I see from 11:1 c/r?

Secondly, how much should I expect to pay to have the rods shotpeened for the p30 pistons?

And for reference, I'm going the cheaper high-c/r route, because I'm building another B18B for 18psi as well. So I'm not putting a bunch of money into this motor right now.. just like to get higher c/r out of the one I'm stuck running till the beast is finished. I'll also be going with Nitrous on the current setup.. and I know nitrous loves higher c/r.. so that's another plus.

Any info is welcome.
