Has anyone heard of C's Short Shifters? I know they are JDM and are hard to find. I heard they were the best short shifters for Honda's/Acura's. If anyone knows the price for one of these short shifters, please let me know. Also, if anyone with a Type R in this forum has the short shifter currently installed in their car, let me know how you like it. Thanks

i have one....i need to get better bushings though. I love it is a very good short shifter. I got mine from Leo at jdmspecperf.com

 

if anything, i'd want the C's positional shifter!

 

I am thinking about getting one myself. There was like a 3 page thread a while back which talked about the C's alot. If you search under short shifter than Im sure you could find it and see the pics of it installed.

 

C's makes good shifters, but the throw of their regular short shifter isn't that much shorter than stock. Feel is nice though, they use roller bearings instead of the stock nylon bushing.

Yes talk to Leo about getting this. He has the best prices and if anyone can get the "Positional" Shift kit he can.

 

Got mine for less than 300 from Leo, good guy.

 

they're a waste of $$$ i think...stock one is fine...there's a slight chance you might damage the synchros if you get one...

 

does the C's short shifter actually sit shorter than the stock shifter? (not the throw, but the vertical height) compared to oem.

The standard C's Short Stroke Shift sits slightly higher, than the OEM shifter.

 

but that does not apply to the C's Driving POsition Shift shifter. i want one bad.

Shifters don't damage synchros, people do.

yes. It takes a while and depending on the product shipping can be kinda pricey.

 

Had one on my ITR when I had it.

Good quality and IMO a noticeble difference from the OEM shifter.

 

sorry to burst the bubble but C's aka comarade bankrupted a few months ago

so any shifter or positional shifter are no longer obtainable, unless i find some place that has them in stock still....i have one more regular C's shifter in stock so after that who knows???

Wow that sucks, first mugen is getting in trouble now C's. Who will be next? I am glad i got my shifter when i had the chance . To Leo!

OEM, but change to Mugen hard rubber bushings

 

Do mugen shifter bushings really make a difference?

Does the c's come with bushings?

 

mugen bushings are very good for the money

C's dont come with shifter bushings
