My R was recently in an accident. The whole front needs to be replaced so I am going with the JDM look. So far, I have the Mugen front bumper, metal fenders with clear side markers. I am debating between getting the mugen vented hood or just go with a VIS CF hood. Let me know what you guys think and also if you have any pic's, they will be very helpful. Thanks!!!

imo choose what you would like, not what the jdm bandwagon would like.

 

i like the jdm front, always have but never had an excuse to spend the money. i just don't know about the mugen vented hood. no one has it so i don't know what it would look like. the pic on kingmotorsports.com doesn't give enough detail on the hood.

I would just get the VIS hood (which i use , painted of course ) or use the oem jdm itr hood..the mugen hood is around 1400 dollars.

stock hood or paint the CF one. Too much at once end up too busy looking.

 

I am leaning towards the CF hood at moment. Now the question is whether or not to paint it? I have a black R. Anyone have pic's of an unpainted cf on a black teg?

unless you actually road race, i cant see spending nearly 1300 on a hood

 

Mugen hood. It's only money...

 

if you need some hood lock/pins PM me. I recently ordered some from summitracing (mr. gasket locks) but I got into an accident, and I think im going to stick w/ the oem hood. let me know.
