Shocks?? + Stock Springs
Hi,
I have just took delivery of my 1998 JDM spec R and would like to "refresh" her up.
I am thinking of replacing the shocks as the standard ones feel a little bit tired.
I don't want to lower her..so i was thinking of keeping my existing springs.
What would you recommend guys:
Buy stock shocks from honda
Spoon Dampers (non adjusting ones)
Bilsteins ?
I use my car only on the street so i don't want something really hard cause our roads are crap....infact i want her to feel as close as possible as it felt out of the factory.
Thanking you,

how about some used type R assemblies. I saw some for sale in the classifieds w/ only 10k miles. about 2-3 hundred.
Getting them from Honda is just not $$$ wise.
Bilsteins sound like a great replacement for the stock shocks also... figure 4-5 hundred.
good luck
