Yup exaclty what the title says.
I had my AEM CAI out for a week so i can put everything on together and feel the gains.
yesterday i put the aem cai, jdm 4-1 and the cat in........today i put the apex n1 in.
HOLY ****!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD GAINS, and loud as fack.......its nice loud at low RPM, but it is a killer in vtec. sounds kinda ricy and annoying at times. I havent really pushed the car too much cause i am scared of being too loud and being seen by the cops......
all i can say is WOW........
i think i lost a lot of low end power tho. I mean ALOT.

You have just about the same setup that I have on my 2000 GSR.
Right now I am running a AEM CAI, DC 4-1 SS (soon to be DC JDM 4-1 with carsound cat) and Apex N-1. When you get on it it screams and that with two bent header primaries from too low a drop.
I heard that with the JDM 4-1 header you can loose power until you put in like cams and some high compression pistions. The JDM is for like high out put all motor engines. that is why it has a 2.5" collector on it. I am not sure i am right but i know i heard this from somewhere. Anyone feel free to correct me if i am wrong.
it comes on the JDM Type-R stock and they do not have much more done to them than a USDM Type-R (Only a few more hp). Cams are similar so not too much more needed. THe ITR cams are not a huge upgrade form the GSR cams so you should see an increase everywhere. The good part is a JDM header can handle high compression and differnt cams. It can become a bottle neck if you get too radical
high numbers are still possible w/o jdm, but you're limiting your potential. if anyone here remembers shawn church from back in the day, i dug up this 194.6whp dyno using dc ceramic into stock cat. wonder what happened to him and where his numbers peaked...

How much is that Carsound cat? Do you need a separate flange for that piece as well? I think I'll sell my DC 4-2-1 down the road and pick up a DC JDM 4-1.

Why doesn't VTEC work when the car is cold?
How do I reset the Maintenance require light?
I will dyno my setup this Sat. I hope for numbers similar to Shawn with bigger cams, but milder headwork, and similar crappy header.
Last I heard, he has a SC CRX that scoots nicely. Someone stole his poor GSR

does the Carsound cat bolt right on? do I need a flange? what happens to the O2 sensor? do any Cells come on? thanks
