Whats wrong with my car????
I have a 92 ls and it ahs a hard time starting up. Last week or so I would try and start the car and it would crank but not start rate away, on the 3rd try trying to start it up it would start right up and not have any problems. This happened 3 times already. So today I go to my car to go to work and it starts rate up, i tap the gas 2 seconds after i started it, it did nothing, tap the gas again while the needle was falling and the car died.
I was thinking maybe the distribtor went because i know those go bad but i was also think the fuel pump. I also thought about the fuel filter, I havent replaced it since I have had the car....please post ur thoughts

I realy havent done any maintenance to the car latetly. Anyone think it s a fuel filter.... Als o forgot to mention that everytime this has happened it was real hot outside

It is your battery. The electrics will all operate fine, even though there is not enough current to start the car. Trust me, from experience i know this. I was able to start the car back up if I stalled it or just shut it off for a minute, but if it sat, i had to push start it. Save yourself the work and take the battery in to test it. I finally did that after spending 5 hours on the ignition....battery was done. Doh!

Also, a common problem with G2s is that the main fuel relay goes bad. The car won't start, though the starter is going. It also happens frequently when it's hot due to the sauder melting. It makes sense since the starter is going but the motor can't get any fuel to the engine. My main fuel relay is going bad as well.
My car was sitting at the tech inspection at an autoX and wouldn't start. Jonna aka MojoGSR said that it was most likely this problem. Embarassing....
