Default suspension.

why is it so hard to put the strut back into place in the front of the car? im talking about the 2 bolts (the 2 big ones that are the same size) that go into the place next to the break line. is there someway that it slides in easier? i didnt use a compressor but i did have the car up on the hydraulic lift and jacked up on the sub lift. any suggestions?

It shouldn't be very hard. its all a matter of lining up the hub with the shock bottom correctly so u can slide the bolts in place.

Ya i had the same problem on my right front. The left just slid in. The right took 1 and half hours to go back in.

It's not hard, just a matter of time and patients. I admit it though, the stock front strut assembly is a little more difficult to put back in place then an adjustable coilover setup. It's the overall legnth of the strut assembly that makes a difference.
