Tell me if this sucks, my best friend since i was in 1st grade that drives a '97 Z71 on twenties swerves to miss a DAMN CAT and hits my H23 'Lude head on and totals my car...i think if it wasnt for my girlfriend crying on my shoulder i woulda cried all on my own shoulder !!! i just felt like some of yall that ive talked to on here be4 should know that my 'Lude is lost im still gonna drive a just for know all i kan afford is a civic !! well ttyl

Similar situations have happened to 2 friends of mine recently both were hit (not at fault), but couldn't afford to replace the lude so now they both have civic hatches.......

EDIT:: i just read in this morning paper. an 8 yr old boy was killed and 4 ppl injured when a man decided to swerve so he wouldn't hit an animal. he hit a station wagon head on.

he was charged with vehicle manslaughter and not staying with in marked lanes.

what a coincidence. consider yourself and your girl very lucky.

i would have hit that cat three times over that cat was probabaly laughin harder than them damn geico squirrels.id cream then paste them and think nothing of then go back home qand kindly wash their poor daring blood from off my front bumper same with dogs but would have slowed the car down even more and the ran it over. Sorry about the loss bro but chin up soon youll be on your feet again .

i dont think he had enough time to react right. i wonder if he saw the other car in the oncoming lane. he prob just saw the cat and swerved out of just reflexes and there was a car on the other side... that sux....

 

I would have squished the cat flat. But reflexes will make you want to get out of the way, regardless of the situation.
