Clutch isnt fully disingaging shutters when in gear and clutch pedal is to floor.. gears are not going in sometimes and they are grinding... everything is telling me that the clutch is not pulling off of the flywheel...

When driving in gear it sounds and runs fine just when you press the clutch in are there problems

so is my pressure plate shot, needs adjusted or does it sound like the clutch master cylinder?

When it first happend i thought the clutch fluid was full but it just left a shadow once i opened it i found it dry.. i filled it bled the lines and it didnt fix... this is why im thinking the clutch master cylinder went out.. but someone is telling me they think it is the pressure plate


any experience with this problem?

i want to get some experianced answers before i go pull the tranny off

does the clutch master cylinder get worn when there is no fluid in it or does it make a difference

 

if the master cylinder gets to low on fluid you will get air in the system. You can also check to see if the master cylinder is leaking from under the dash. If it is wet around the rubber boot it shouldn't be.

 

Clutch master is gone, might as well do the slave, too.

 

start from the easy and see.i would change the master/slave cyl.
