If the swap includes the transmission, ecu, mounts, and shift linkage, it is a pretty good deal.(I THINK)

2 year warranty?

if that $3000 includes the engine, trans, etc.., then that is a good deal. especially if the warranty is for real, but how would you get a warranty on it?

that is good. i mean just to buy the engine tranny ecu itself costs like what 2300 or 2400. i mean unless u know how to do it yourself, i say thats pretty good. especially witha warranty

It should cost a lot more than that.. make sure it's a gen 2. If the Intake doesn't have PGM-FI plastered all over it then you're good, also, look for gray connectors and make sure that the valve cover says dohc VTEC, not DOHC vtec... in other words, VTEC should be larger. That's really cheap though.. almost too cheap.

that is just about right on. c'mon guys, he won't be using the hydro trans, so pretty much all he is getting is a newer b16. last i checked gen II b16's were about 400 more than a gen I.

Those are all good ways to tell, but if it comes with the transmisson just make sure it is hydro. Then you know its really an a2.
