'90 CRX 1.6i 16v DOHC (D16Z5): Swap to B16A2?
I have the chance to get a B16A2 from a Civic VTI, and I was wondering if it fits in my CRX where a D16Z5 is at this time.
Will it fit? engine mounts and so on?
Very thankful for any help!

i presume the CRX is a EG1 or Del SOl type and the motor is from a EG VTi Civic as well. if so. then yes, it will all work. you'll require, all the mounts, complete motor + tranny + ecu + axles + shift linakge to complete the swap. other then that its a bolt on affair if you have everything.

Re: '90 CRX 1.6i 16v DOHC (eg6ajk)
It is a 2Gen CRX ED9 (European) with a stock DOHC D16Z5 engine. The swap engine is a B16A2 from a European 94 Civic VTI HB.
tranny and everything i need(i think ) comes with the engine.
So, it is a pretty easy fit?
Will I need new engine mounts, or can I use the original ones?

Re: '90 CRX 1.6i 16v DOHC (willypolly)
since its a second gen its not going to be easy,
as you'll require custom mounts, wiring, as well as cable b16a tranny from 90-3
integra or 90-1 EE9/8, custom shift linkage or yours cut and welded. its alot of work.
time to reasearch and read:
