Default New to N. Virginia

I just came down from Pittsburgh for law school and I was wondering who's in the area (around Tyson's corner w/o being too specific). I know there are quite a few down here from looking at the message board, and I was wondering if anybody could help me out w/ where I can have my spec b's installed. Also, any more auto-x's in the area? BTW, thanks to Aleph and all the other Pgh'ers I drove with. Sorry I couldn't make the last auto-x, but my blown tires have put me on a budget. Anyway, thanks to any in the DC area who respond. I'll be here for the next three years and I need a new ITR crowd.

I visit Herndon a lot... I will be there late Thursday night..

There are a lot of R's in NOVA.... maybe a Tyson's or Burke Lake meet is in order?

I think a Tyson's gathering is in the works...

Thanks to those who responded. Yeah, I've heard there are a lot of cops in the area, I'm a little nervous to speed too much around here. I could meet pretty much whenever at night or on the weekends. If there is a Tysons meet coming up that would be perfect. BTW, any of you DC/VA guys running the Toda B's? I definetly need some help w/ those if there is someone with expertise out there. Thanks.

Well, your best bet is hooking up with SGT! He is the man for installing and especially tuning on TODA GEAR!! Not trying to knock shops, just go with what ya know!! It's a TYPE-R, wasn't sure that any shops around here had one.....

Thanks,

Welcome to the area.

As far as autocrossing goes, here is the website for the Metropolitan Washington Council of Sports Car Clubs. They organize quite a few per year... Hope to see you out there!
