Chad,
Sorry about the hard luck. There is always Sunday Bro!!! Could RR Version 7.0 keep up with JE on the banking?
Sounds like the 'race' was uneventful? How many cars took the green in SB..
Come-on throw me a bone over here!!
Info pleaeeeese!
John- whos witnessing the points lead slipping away. DAMN!

Wish I was on top of my usual game and get all of the final stats (heck I'm even working in T&S this weekend) but alas I was distracted. Sorry, I will try tomorrow!
All I can remember from the Small Bore race was that of the ECHC group, the Top 5 held their positions the entire race (Evans, Jacobs, Curpier, Franza, & Williams). Not much action up front because everyone was spaced out. Franza and Williams seemed much closer together with the potential from some scrapping, but no dice from my POV.
Edit: Oh, also, seemed Warren had his fare share of problems.
I want to say something happened in practice, but I do know in qualifying he dropped a ton of oil in Turn 1 and ended up sitting out for a bit till Big Blue rolled up...

Saturday:
H3: Ratcliff (duh....)
H4: Kent
H5:???
Notes: Lots of blown engines today. You can fit a baseball through what's left of ****'s block. Adam Richman blew up his 944S while instructing. At 7:30am, the R&D engine was *completely* disassembled, because it broke on the drive up.
Good drives: Robert Williams drove the freakin wheels of his R. Curpier had a nice drive in H1. Corey gave Evans *ALL* he could handle for a few laps in the beginning. Good stuff

They had this hyperride thing going on to take paying riders out for some fast paced laps around the track. I took out one of the NASA workers as they had no one else (already had enough drivers, not enough riders). I'd guess about 10 or so minutes in, turned in to Turn 1 and a very loud twack followed by a ton of smoke in the cockpit (I actually thought the car was on fire). Just a real big hole missing out of the bottom end and the under panel was covered with large pieces of aluminum. What the hay, it was a really fun session until then :-)

Great event. I was glad to meet everyone.
BIG props to everyone who competed and the winners.
The RandD and SGT crews really deserve a hand for all that they fixed this weekend. Excellent work.
Those of you who missed it REALLY missed out.

Warren ran and ran pretty strong from my POV. Chad only ran one lap on the apron just to retain points for competing.

Whatever happened to Honda reliability?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Blown up "stock" Hondas are almost always due to non spec parts, poor maintenence, poor re-assembly, driver error...etc. Not flaming **** or his engine builder, but there's a reason.
Having raced Hondas HARD for 13+ years with only a couple of blown head gaskets (reason = too much drafting), I believe in Honda reliability.

With a Honda like you have, reliability is prolly never an issue!
And Driver Error has to be up there above the 50% range

What happened to Chad today? Why did he only run one lap on the apron? Were they not able to get his shift linkage fixed?
