Default hondata as 1st upgrade?

i recently got an rsx (base-model) and was wondering if anybody's first mod to their car was hondata? i am wondering because i intend to keep this ride pretty much stock. obvioulsy hondata will work better with i/h/e -- but is it worth the upgrade without the bolt-ons?

thats bullshit who said its hard. You dont do anything. you take your car to a local dealer, they take out the chip, send it to hondata, they burn the the chip, then send it back and you drive it like you stole it. It sounds more complicated than it is. But you must have an intake. I have a brand new AEM in box CAI. $210 shipped.

Hondata will work well as a first upgrade. It will work better with a cold air intake.

the older systems are different than that of the K-series and require some knowledge to function correctly.........the K series is as idiot proof as could be though

Contact me if you would like to do this or have any specific questions.......I am a long time K-series user and a dealer as well

As long as you dont plan on doing any other mods ... (read: Nitrous or Turbo or SC) without paying (again) to go back to a normal ecu.

Careful.

The K-series hondata is just a reflash, it doesn't entail a piggyback ecu or anything.

I say, I/E first, and then hondata, cause if they spec the chip based on your mods, you'll end up paying for it more than once.

For your fist mod you should buy CAI or Full exhaust. at least that way you have a better way to buy hondata since it is tuned for CAI allready

exhaust will do very little for a stock or fairly modded RSX..........if you like the looks/sound, go for it, but i ran my 13's with stock exhaust

you dont need that until you start pushing 200+whp give or take for it to do much good
