Default whats the best way to break in my rebuilt motor??

hey whats up you guys? I have a quick question for you. I have a 92 Gsr with a freshly rebuilt motor. the b17 block has JDM CTR pistons, with all new seals and gaskets in the block, a new JDM ITr cylinder head complete, with cams, intake manifold and bored out throttle body. the motor is going to be dropped in today. the block has 0 miles since the rebuild. What is the best way to break in my fresh motor? Any tips?? Any help is always appreciated. Thanks alot guys!

break in the motor how you want it to run. If its going to be a race car break it in at the track or on the dyno. Just break it in how you intended to run it

Change oil frequently atleast every 500 miles

DRIVE IT IKE YOU STOLE IT!!!!

Not saying just STOMP on it but don't be afraid to rev it under load(meaning standing stll and revving the engine will not help you have to put a load on it. DRIVE IT get the revs up there. The Break in window is very narrow... Like within the first 100 miles or so. But then you want to frequently change the oil over the next 1500-2000 miles
Rev it but MOST IMPORTANTLY LET the car reach operating temp before driving it. Don't use a Synthetic OIL during break in. Use regualr motor Oil and I also like to use Lucas additive. but that's just me.

Did i forget anything? Oh Don't be afraid to rev it.

very interesting article, let me know what you guys think.

http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

If you don't want to read the whole thing, basically what it says is that you take it to the track/dyno within like the first 30 miles or something. He also recommends changing the oil after like 50 miles or something, which does make sense, because if metal shavings are stuck in a new motor, they'd come off immediately, not over 500 miles.

When I get to building my ZC I'm going to follow his break in method and change my oil left and right, right after the first run, then 50, then 100, then 200 etc until the derbis/shavings goes down to nil.
