leaking oil.......boost gurus please help
i've been boosting for a few months now, and ever since my car has been leaking oil. i know that it's coming from the front of the motor, but not exactly sure where. the turbo is still dry so i don't believe the seals are broken. also, it's not coming from the oil pressure line nor is it coming from the return line or where it is tapped on the oil pan. has anyone have any idea what it might be? any help would be greatly appreciated
ok....i'll take a pic, but i can't really pinpoint one specific area b/c it's all over the bottom of the oil pan and the front portion of the bottom of the block.

Thats my guess. Did you use hondabond on the oil pan gasket and torque the bolts back in a cross pattern?

yup.....my friend did it actually. we've taken the oil pan out at least 3 times to check it, and hondabonded it and everything. still leaks though. i'll hopefully have a picture or something up by tomorrow.

I assume you replaced the old gasket with a new one, right? If not that could very well be your problem. If you do not clean up ALL the old hondabond sometimes you'll have problems with leaks.
Is any oil on your block at all? Or just your oil pan? If it is just the oil pan, there is a good possibility that when you had your return line welded on the oil pan might have gotten dinged out of shape...

Where did you place your oil feed line?? did you use the hole near the oil filter??
Maybe the feed line connection is leaking and that will drip down to the oil pan also.......very hard to detect because it's at the back of the block.
This is only when you've used the hole in the back. hmmmmm that came out wrong sorry hope you get the point.
