Default Did i get a pretty good deal on my ITR

I bought my ITR with 30k miles on the odometer, but it had a factory bad motor in it so it was under warranty and had brand new motor in it. So it had 200 miles on the motor when i got it. I got it this year and its a 2000. And i paid $15,000. Its really clean cept back emblem was stolen sitting in the car dealership. And it was bone stock and everything in excelent condition.

factory bad motor?

heh....that sounds shady in itself.

but its a great deal, esp from a dealership.

whoever sold it lowballed himself,...even below wholesale value.

Ya, not salvaged or anything, but they had all the reciepts and i checked on it, the motor really was bad, so it got a new one. It wasnt his car it was his sons and his son pist him off so he took it from him and just sold it for cheap. he was asking 19 but i talked him down to say the least. lol.

I love how H-T member have gotten so Grammar critical.

Be it known that not everyone here speaks English as a FIRST Language. Secondly Be it known that this is an IMFORMAL Message board.

Nice Find on the Car.

Be it known that proper sentence & paragraph structure, although not required, does make your post much more readable. They also increase the probability of people actually attempting to read what you have written & answering your questions.

I think you got a good price on the R. IMO, a new factory warrantied motor is even better than one with X0,000 miles on it. Who knows how the engine was treated? I'd rather have 200 mystery miles over x0,000 mystery miles, don't you agree?

BTW - compared to other people's posts on H-T, the thread-starter's sentences made perfect sense.

--

OT: I do not agree that using numbers in place of letters (i.e., b4), using phonetic spellings (like 'oic' = Oh, I see, cuz, and other oddities), lack of grammar, or total misuse of certain words (wrong context, wrong word to use at the time i.e., accept/except) is acceptable. It isn't acceptable. There are some people on this board who's first language is NOT english, yet you would never know it. They might have better grammar/spelling than most us 'first language english people'.

I agree that tiny little errors need not be mentioned, but I refuse to take anyone seriously when they say "b4 I wuz going 2 da trak", unless it is totally obvious it is a joke. Anyone who is sitting in front of their computer on Honda-Tech has the time to spend to revise a post to make it coherent and intelligent looking. In fact!! Most of the time people who have the worst grammar/english skills aren't even able to use the excuse of having another language as their first!!! Most people are pretty considerate of some of the members from other countries....

I don't remember anyone in my high school/college, no matter WHERE they were from, who couldn't form intelligent sentences, and no excuses were made for anyone. How is this any different?

Chris - who understands, but thinks there is a large difference from incoherent drivel and minor mistakes due to second language type barriers.

don't waste your money and buy new emblems from the dealer for 70.00. My rear emblem was jacked and I replaced it with a yellow A emblem for 18 bucks. Looks tizight
