Default TODA Flywheel...

I just received my new TODA flywheel in the mail today...however on the box it says B16A. I have a 2000 Type R, so I am assuming that the B16A and the B18C flywheels are interchangeable. Can anyone verify that for me before I take everything apart and realize that it will not fit.

Thanks

It is a great addition. I love mine, and have had it for over a year now. Not a problem yet. Take a pic of it before you put it in, it is a very nice piece of work.

Toda Flywheels are very nice! Why did you go with the TODA flywheel over the JUN Ultra-lightweight flywheel? Just curious? Also, does anyone know where I can get a JUN UL Flywheel right now for a decent price????

I went with the TODA because it is Cromoly, while the JUN is aluminum. The cromoly is obviously stronger and the wieght differential between the 2 is minimal.

Obviously stronger? Not the flywheel debate again... How's this for a chromoly flywheel?

No it's not a Toda. All I know is next time I'm going to get an aluminum one.

There's about 5 or 6 guys locally, including myself.. and all of us are using the Comptech aluminum one. Works great.

Jack, you do a flywheel swap in 1.5 hours? You're pretty damn quick. I thought my 2 hour tranny swap was decent!

You have to drop the tranny to get to the flywheel, and in order to drop the tranny, you need to jack the car up to take off the lower control arm. So it can't be done without jacking up the car and dropping the tranny.

Falling asleep at work and not thinking straight.

I should clarify. to do it without a lift.
it was a lot easier to do the swap with the engine and tranny out of the car .
A lift would be so nice.
