Default How are crower turbo cams?

Possibly interested in buying them. i wanna have a higher redline (9300) and any other cam would fall off and not make power that high. wanted to know if anyone has used these and what your experiences are. i'm lookin to put them in a turbo b16. i would like responses from people with the actual cams, and not what people have heard. thanks guys.

I would stock stock GSR or B16 cams over the crower turbo cams. We had alot of problems with them breaking. I would have to lean away from crower on this one.

Stick with stock, use 94+ GSR cams.

id like to see some dyno charts as to what cam is actually better. Would be great if someone did a test with the skunk 2, crower, and some b-series cams to actual see the differences. Anyone have any charts at all.

I run the crower cams. Yes the first set broke on me but it is a known defect by crower. They will replace the original cams. The new cams are have a -2 behind the part#. My first set broke into 5 pieces and bent all my exhaust valves. Crower replaced all the parts at no charge. They do stand behind their products. Dyno #'s.. I make 500+ and power does not drop at all on the high rpms.. I spin it to 9500.

edit:
My friends straight 1.8L ls motor made 405 whp using crower LS cams. He never had any problems with them at all.

Several people I know have broken Crower cams in their motor. Usually the vtec grind. Always good for some bent valves and scarred pistons. I won't run them even though they have some good grinds.

What turbo cams would you recommend earl? Not trying to hijack the thread, just wondering what people recommend.
