You must have something strange going on. I don't think a 15x7 with a 205-50 tires would normally be a problem. I have a 15x7 +38 offset with 205-50's and have no rubbing problems, and this is with a very softly sprung suspension. Give us more details and maybe we could help you out.

15x6.5 with 205/50's here with no rubbing on a 90 Si. (well, now i have 14x7's)

How low is your car? You could always try and roll the fenders out a little, but I only had to do that once I had the front end slammed to create more negative camber. Less of a problem with the 14x7 with 205/55, but the overall diameter is a little bit smaller too. Good luck, let us know what you find.

Rubbing where? Fender liner or fender?

How low are you? Measure at the jack tabs. I am the legal HC limit which is 5" IIRC (just off the top of my head).

What is your camber set @? Are you running camber kits to add back positive camber?

I have them on the race car with no rubbing problems.

I got 15x7 +38mm offset 205/50R15 tires and I only rub when making right turns. The bodyshop replaced the left inner fender liner after an accident. I think the fender liner is causing the rubbing problems because it's different than what came on the car or wasn't installed correctly. Remove the fender liners and see if it still rubs.

Remove your fender liners and then roll your fenders with a baseball bat. Be careful, the paint will start to chip if you go at it too fast. Ibelive many people use a heat gun to 'soften' the paint before using the rolled fender method.

I didnt use it and my paint is fine (knock on wood) I was in the same boat you are. I have a 205/15 tire on my car and it rubs. So i rolled my fender a little more. Still rubbed. Then i looked underneath my car and realized it was from the tire touching the WHEEL WELL!! ....

im lowered on 1.5 inch tokico hp kit... im going to inspect my schocks..... no camber kit yet, and im scheduling an alignment today.... i bent the metal tabs on the fender to bumper connection and it helped a good bit but i think hits hitting the wheel well, im going to look more.

don't know how low my car is ( I would say 1.75" to 2" lower than stock) but i have 15x7 rims, +38 offset, with 205/50 Azenis and mine rubs in the rear. I have 450# springs back there also and the shocks cranked up. I only notice it during HPDE's when I take high speed corners, the outside rear will rub. Hasn't happened on the street yet. I think my tire is just hitting that inner lip (no fender liners back there of course). I bent it up some but I think I need to bend it all the way up and just roll the fender a tad. I think with a +43 or even a +40 offset it would remedy it but it's not a big deal to flare the fenders a bit. Good tip on heating the paint before you roll the fenders!
