i am running a b20/b18c1 head 11.8:1 comp i/h/e aem fpr and a fuel pump
after 2000 miles my motor started feeling like it was about to stall the rpms drop and my car makes a putting sound. then it would kick back up when i accelerate it would hesitae and lose power then it pushes thru it and runs normal. the check engine lights say i have a mis fire in the 2nd cylinder. any ideas what the problem is

 

you probably are not getting enough fuel to into the cumbustion chamber you migh want to check or replace the injector & fuel pump for larger one the formula is to see what zize of injector is engine hp x bsfc/num of injectors x 0.8
bsfc = base specific consumptoin
for example:650 x 0.5/8 x 0.8=50.78

Check compression and valve adjustment too.
