Default 87 crx hf monster motor will not start help

ok here it is i have a 1st gen crx a 87 hf with a carb.(non efi). the motor just got out of the machine shop. the block was bored 30 over , decked to make sure it was flat, arias pistons(alloy). the head was ported, polished , new valves and valve seals, and also decked. it is stil running the stock cam for right now i want to break the motor in before i put the bullfrog cam in,and the nos. i put the motor together. i am very good at working on motors and cars. everything was put toghether right . number 1 piston at top dead center. cam at number 1 top dead center. distributor points at number 1. when i crank it over it trys to startbut will only run on one piston. so i checked the psi in all the chambers number 1 has 80 psi. number 2 has 40 psi . number 3 has 100 psi .number 4 has 150 psi. normal for this motor is 160 psi . what is wrong????????

There has to be a reason for your low compression numbers. Even brand new rings shouldn't have compression that low. Pour about a cap full of oil into each cylinder then do the compression test again.

is your cam timing correct? maybe the valves are staying open for most of the stroke

If you're 100% sure your cam timing is dead on, and oil in the cylinders only helped a point or two, I'd look at your valves. Time to do a leak down and see where that air is escaping to.

you did all this to an HF BLOCK why... well you need to put a candian carbed head or a usdm SI head on there (no Cvcc) or better yer a candian si head (good luck finding one)but it sounds like you need to re check your timming
