Tapping the iginition
Where would be the best place to tap a wire that is hot when the key is turned to accessory? The car is an EK-EX and i'm trying to install a device that i only want on when the key is in the accessory position.
If you're planning on doing this yourself, go and buy a test light, figure out how to use it, and proble away. When your airbag light turns on and you can't turn it off, you'll say to yourself, "I should've paid and gotten it done professionally."
The truth is, if you're asking how to find a ACC wire, you're probably not knowledgable with vehicle electronics.
Even if I told you which wire it was, you might make an improper connection. That can be dangerous.
There are reasons why some people get paid to do this.
If you don't give a **** and you still want to do it... its the WHITE/BLK in the ignition harness.

Some people say soldering is the only way to go, but if you dont know how or dont have a place to do it then its not an option. You can purchase scotch-loc's for the size wire that is used in the ignition harness. All you need to put them on is a big pair of channel locks or vicegrips. quick fast simple
