if i get a lsd would the grinding in my transmission stop

 

If there is grinding in your tranny. No a lsd will not stop it, but while you are tearing apart the tranny to put a lsd in you can purchase new synchros if indeed the synchros are the case. A search on here shows that alot of people have been using the GM synchromesh tranny fluid with alot of luck, but it only cures slight grinds and scratches dont expect it to do miracles. Griding will be a bearing. Commonly the thrust bearing or possibly release bearing.
Unless you have currently have a LSD about to break in which case it also makes a grinding noise (experience).
