what is the switch conected to the clutch pedal that is pushed in when the clutch is depressed. i was wondering if i can replace that with my hondata clutch switch. the button switch there now has a black and green wire to the plug for it.

i'm not talking about the hondata clutch switch, im talking about the switch that comes in my car stock. i just want to know what it is and if i can take it out and use the mounting bracket for my hondata clutch switch.

You can take it out, but you will need to cut the wires and solder them together or else your car won't start. But if you do this, you will not need to press the clutch in anymore when you start it.
