i have to get the cd player out to get the serial number to unlock the damn thing. but i cant figure out how to get to it. the mid panel is being a bitch to get off. please someone help

 

on the passenger side lok up under the dash with a light and you should see 2 8mm bolts you haveto take them out then the radio comes out the front

you can, but you don't have to. I ended up having to because i couldn't get the bolts undone by sticking my hand up through the wires in the back.

 

no you don't have to take out the center console
you can also call your local circuit city and for about 20.00 they will pull it out for you in about 3 minutes

this is best!,
do not remove the bolts all the way! just losen them then you can pull out the deck. after the deck is out retighten them so you know where the are..or you can take them out if you wanna save some weight (2~3 bolts..?)
