I have a JDM ITR engine with 12:1 c/r. My question is why does my car feel so sluggish under boost. I've a very small turbo from a old electric generator. The turbo spins freely and doesn't feel like it's old. I think it says Garret T15 or something like that on the side. My next question is I live on Diego Garcia and we can only get MOGAS which is about 85 octane rating. It's hot here year round everything is stock except the turbo and fuel pump. I don't have an intercooler yet. I don't think it will help because it 40C most of the time. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I bet it's true...Diego Garcia is about 17 sq. miles. I doubt they have much of an import scene there..let alone shops to buy stuff
