should these come with new bumpstops and dustcovers?
if not where can i get them and about how much do they cost?

Aftermarket shocks *such as yours*----the manual usually instructs to reuse the stock oem bumpstops, which at MOST times may be required to be cut in half. KONI yellows for example require the OEM bumpstops to be reused but to be cut in half.
As far as dustcovers goes, I don't see a need for you to buy a new one? Whats wrong with the old one? ....errr wait, afraid of dust? j.k.
cheers

Are you sure patrick? Well I'm not either but I got this resource from two of my good friends who are rocking the Koni Yellow/Neuspeed Sport Springs setup (Oh---one drives a 95 civic hatchback SI and one 95 euro-accord converted coupe ). .... I'm guessing that you are right but they trimmed theirs.... uhhh maybe I'll go ask them again to be sure .

New dustcovers are a dumb idea, since there isn't anything to wear out w/ the old ones. The bumpstops may wear some, but this is negligible.
Acuracarland would have all the parts you need.

The dealership will have bumpstops. As for dustcovers, I wish I installed them. The stock ones are metal and I didn't want to put them in and have funky noises or to damage my illumina's so I didn't do it. It's been a year now and no problems so far (knock on wood)
im in the middle of installing koni yellows and eibach prokits on my 97 teg. do people have experience with cutting bumpstops/reusing dust covers on this setup? i was lookin on the comptech site, and for the cmptch/koni coilover suspension, they say to trim the bumpstops to 30mm in the front only and to NOT reuse the dustcovers.. anyone kno if these tips apply to regular koni yellows and springs??? thx for any help~
btw - sorry for jackin the thread~

i figure a shorter spring, shorter travel for the shock. since the bumpstop prevents the shock from bottoming out, u need to cut it (the bumpstop) to maintain a decent amount of travel? someone help me if im totally off base.... anyone wit experience wit dustcovers and koni yellows?
*note* did a search, and din come up wit anything definitive - most common answers are to either cut them all in half, or only cut the front ones 25mm? -.-a anyone wit first hand experience? sorry to nag.. these are goin on tomorrow~

those instructions are ghey, if you don't have dust covers then any dust or dirt that sticks to the shock piston can get down into the shock seals and blow it out prematurely.
My H&R Sport springs came with a sheet that specifically said to NOT trim bumpstops. So I didn't cut mine. But the springs lowered my car 3", I think I need to trim them.
When I switch to a Ground Control setup I will probably strap on some universal dust boots or tie rod boots to help keep the shock pistons clean.

I cut my bumpstops. My old coilovers instructed to. I am riding on sportlines now. I have illuminas, and used the oem dust covers. They are a tight fit around the shock though. i suggest you use them though, you don't want all that road crap to get on the piston of the shock. I also painted them white to match the shock.
