well in japan...no space to park...thats why they made them....

but in us....lots of space.....so they are not needed but preferred if you want to get into a really tight spot....

well if you have to fold in your mirrors to fit into a parking space then you better have a si with a sunroof to get out of cause you sure as **** cant open the door. no actually it is for when the car is parked. im sure youve driven downthe street in america and seen people with trucks and stuff with the mirrors folded in so cars dont rip them off as they go by well this is just a luxury that they are foldable from a switch in the driver area. thats my .02

Don't forget to document the install, when you get around to it.

Putting in my mirrors over LD weekend; have no idea about when the wiring will be attempted.

Looking forward to the first time folding them; then by the 5th time I do it, realizing that I'm already bored with the feature, and that I was a moron to spend $200 on something so stupid.

Use brake fluid to take the color off of the jdm ones then repaint them or drive them around black. Also does it say objects may seem closer than apeared on the left mirror?

thanks guys

the seats are real SiR seats there is real SiR on ebay right now with these seats in it. I do know about those All black leather CR-X seats with CR-X stitched in the seats too.. but i dont have the $300+ for those

the mirrors, i just think it would be cool to fold them in occasionally when people start looking at my car. its mostly for conversation :D and the install shouldnt be too hard.. i found a wiring diagram, and i have the one relay i need to get them to work, this should be a lot easier than my Climate control :D

neuspeed: yea i will get them painted black to match the body color :D and no, i believe both mirrors are maginfied so it doesnt say anything on either.

thanks guys :D

oh i also got confirmation on my CRX maplight and rearview mirror, they are in the US now... and should be shipping today or monday :D

FYI: instead of those stupid seatbelt lights by the sunvisors, in Japan, they offered a maplight right there.. so you could turn those on for better light, instead of the rear dome light. it taps right into that wiring for the dome light, and im gonna try to hook it up that it comes on with the dome light when the doors are open

do you guys think they stitched "CRX" in the Civic SiR? No. They are nice seates, black would be cooler though. As for the mirrors, to each his own.

well i might just do that. i have 2 pairs right now. Im definitely getting rid of one set now. The other im gonna keep until i fix the leather, then i dont know what im gonna do with them. They were in the car i wrecked, so theres some sentimental value

the one pair i want to get rid of though, they have a hole in the drivers side bolster.. i will try and get some pics. I have a lot of pics i need to take this weekend

ebay man.. theres a set on there right now. if not there. try passwordjdm. they have a set right now, but they dont have the switch in stock yet. also try autosonic. they dont have any in stock yet either, but they should be getting some.

hope that helps just keep watching ebay and make sure it has the switch and the relay to make them work :D

just to let you know the mirrors might be more of a hassle than you think.... well i dont know if your pretty good with wiring but it looked difficult hopefully all the plugs are intact on your set ( maybe because i didn't have the jdm relay) also the mirrors are going to be hard to use unless you can swap the glass from the usdm to the jdm... no matter how you adjust them the magnification is off

just thought i would get you some more info to make your install's easier...
keep on posted on the map light too, might be interested in seeing that install

thanks for the tip.. i already thought about that, and its ok, as long as i can see a little. and compared to my auto climate control, this looks a lot easier :D

and i will let you know about the maplight install.. thats not gonna be untill i get the car painted and start putting it back together.. but i will keep you posted
