the VIN tag on the block
hey guys u know when u guys get the swap, there is a vin tag on the block, is that true if it is missing, it is really gonna have a chance that it is a hot one. also what about the vin tag on the tranny, if that is missing, can it be legit

That's funny... it sure looks like it's stuck on there pretty well. I think maybe someone helped it "fall off".

arent the vin tags welded on? my friend has one on his 98 block but on side is popped off and the other side is intact , its a 98 gsr same vin as his car original motor , do they come off and pop back on i would hope honda would of stamped it on the block instead of a vin plate (like the block engraving)
