Default setting valves with adj. cam gear

should i set the cam timing back to zero before i adjust the valves on my d16z6 (intake .007 exhaust .009) i have my cam retarded 2degrees and was wondering if i should set it back to zero before adjusted my valves

its not gonna matter if its retarted. valves that need adjusting arent gonna be affected by a cam that is advanced 2 degrees. i dont see why u would be worried otherwise.

insted of putting it a TDC for each cylinder put the 2 degree mark up and thats TDC for the head

is it going to make that much of a diff? or should i just set my cam timing back to zero and adjust the valves and then retard the cam 2 degrees? i dont really understand what you meen
