I have the older Defi Link gauges which I believe are no longer being carried. My EGT guage went haywire when I washed my engine bay, some water must have gotten into something there that effected my EGT gauge cuase I got crazy readings rights after washing my engine bay, even though I let it dry out for an hour, readings will fluctuate as much as 400-600 degress in one second, the EGT just dances all over the place, and won't read past 1000 degrees anymore.
I think I might have gotten the electrical harness too wet accidently. I don't htink they are correct readings becuase of the fluctuation changes of the temp that have become SOooo irrattic.
Does anybody know of a remedy, or of a place I can just buy the Thermometer peice. Considering that's there's nothign actually wrong with the gauge unit itself, I rather not buy a whole new guage you know.
THanks in advance.
