Default key question

the glovebox handle has a key slot, one that is fitted to the car's ignition barrel. in other words, the same key that opens the glovebox handle also starts the car. my question is if someone were to have the glovebox handle (which has the key slot) would they be able to reverse fabricate a key to fit the ignition?

unfortunately this question alludes to the problem that i currently have

I'm almost positive that the glovebox lock is much less complex than the ignition, meaning that, just because the ignition key unlocks the glovebox doesn't mean that a "glovebox" key would work in the ignition.

I have noticed that any ignition key whether it be from someone else's integra can open up your glove box. I dont know if this is a flaw when they made the glove box locks or not.
